Without trying to spoil too much, this series is excellent! Every choice feels like it matters in the arc of the grand narrative.

Amazing writing by part of the developers. Not as hard as the original but still makes you feel like you're in this city of ne'er-do-wells where you always have to have an eye over your shoulder. My personal favorite of the 4 setting wise.

Mateus Zuravski

Just that if l want to read, l have a library full of books. This is not game enough for me.

Worth the money. A lot of replay value. I discovered these gamebooks from the director of the Dark Souls games, Hidetaka Miyazaki. It all makes sense now how he came up with the main idea behind the games.

Everyone complaining about lack of clues should be glad they never played original gamebook version of this from the 1980s. It was 10 times as hard. This version is superior to the dead tree version in every way. Better combat system, better version of the spell system, & more content. Swindlestones exists to net you money that you NEED; this income wasn't available before. This version of Khare still feels as cutthroat as ever without being impossible. Great way to experience a classic.

Tap character at beginning and game crashes.

The first loop was fun, but got to the end and couldn't complete it because I missed something. Subsequent loops were less fun because I was so concerned about not missing anything.
